Another Crafty Gift

Our friend had a baby boy and this is the gift I made. A keepsake box for monthly baby photos and cards.

Things I Made Today

I had so much fun playing with fabric today. I made the balls first and then wanted to make some birds to go with them, so I just cut out the fabric and started hand sewing. I wanted them to look a little more shabby than they do, I even tried adding some extra hand stitching on the outside to make them look a little rougher, but they still aren't exactly as messy (like the balls) as I'd like. I think they're cute though.

LIttle Paper Baskets for May Day

May Day is coming so I made up some cute little paper baskets to use for teachers and friends.
I now have to figure out how to put flowers in them. Maybe I'll use silk? The template for these baskets are at http://www.primahybrids.com/ and it is free.

If Life Gives You Lemons....

Well, G & V have been sick for well over a week now. Flu which turned into bronchitis. I'd say life HAS given them lemons. Things are looking on the up and up though since G decided he wanted to make lemonade. He's getting more and more into cooking and I LOVE it!
