Fluffy Monster Pops!

Ooooo... I found the cutest idea at Conversation with a Cupcake. I, of course, couldn't create a pink fluffy pop. I am after all the mother of two boys. So, I had to change the idea and turn them into "Fluffy Monster Pops". My guys were happy to find them on the table when they came home from school today. This is an easy and great after school treat! If you want to see how they're made, go to the link above and see what it is like to have a converstation with a cupcake! Her site is adorable!

As you can see, they were a big hit as an after school treat. Fridays are known for being the day when we have something unhealthy as a treat rather than our typical healthy afterschool snack.
So much for that dental appointment we just got home from. I'm sure V's hygienist would love to see these photos!

New Bag!

I made my own design today! It was really fun to come up with one of my own. This bag is oversized and would make an excellent diaperbag. It also has an applique flower which is pinned on so that you can take it off if you don't like it or you don't feel like having it on there today.

Packaging

I made some fun stuff to send with my first apron order. I made a cute little thank you card with an apron on the front. I used paper from a wallpaper book to make it. I also made the little tag by printing on fabric that matches the apron. I then sewed it to a tag, used some blue satin ribbon and tulle to tie it up. I then hooked the little tag to the apron with a tiny little clothes pin.

The other thing I did (as a surprise) is I made her a coffee cozy to match. Shhhhhhhh!!!!

You can click on the pictures to get a better view.

See the tulle tied to this tag? Also the pink paper behind the apron is tissue paper with black and white flowers on it. That is what I will wrap everything in.

There is also a pouf behind the flowers which are sewn on with a vintage button. I still need to add the Velcro to this... tomorrow.
This is the thank you card.

Yeah! My first customer!!!
